S3 object storage browser

Browse AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, and MinIO buckets next to your databases.

Any S3-compatible object store can be added as a storage connection — AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, or any endpoint that speaks the S3 API — and browsed in the same window as your databases.

Connect#

  1. Click New Connection and choose the storage / S3 connection type instead of a database engine.
  2. In Bucket & Endpoint, set the Connection Name, Bucket, and Region. For R2 or MinIO, set the Endpoint URL — e.g. https://<account>.r2.cloudflarestorage.com — AWS S3 doesn't need one. Optionally scope the browser to a Path Prefix, and choose path-style vs. virtual-hosted addressing.
  3. In Credentials, enter the access key ID and secret access key.
  4. Click Test, then Save.

Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; the browse session holds them only for signing requests.

Browsing#

  • The bucket's contents open in a file-explorer view with folders, sizes, and timestamps.
  • Preview common file types inline, and open the object detail panel for metadata — content type, size, ETag, storage class, and a presigned file URL link that opens in your browser.
  • Upload, download, and delete objects; manage ACLs per object.
  • The analytics view summarizes the bucket — object counts and size by prefix.

Backups can write straight into a bucket — see Backup & restore.

Troubleshooting#

  • Access denied — verify the key pair's bucket-level permissions (list, get, put as needed).
  • R2 / MinIO connection fails — the Endpoint field is required for anything that isn't AWS S3; double-check it's the full HTTPS URL.
  • Wrong addressing style — some providers only support path-style addressing; toggle it in Bucket & Endpoint if virtual-hosted requests fail.
